Why Mintlify?

We're on a mission to empower builders.

  • Massive reach: Our docs platform serves 100 million+ developers every year and powers documentation for 20,000+ companies, including Anthropic, Microsoft, PayPal, Spotify, Coinbase, X, and over 20% of the last YC batch.

  • Small team, huge impact: We recently passed 65 employees and raised a $45 million Series B led by A16Z and Salesforce Ventures. Each new hire has a huge impact on shaping the company's trajectory.

  • Culture of slope over y-intercept: We value learning velocity, grit, and unapologetically unique personalities.

We grew in value faster than headcount and we’re looking to align the two quickly.

What you'll do

Mintlify is at an inflection point. We closed our Series B at a $500M valuation led by a16z and Salesforce Ventures, and are targeting significant revenue growth in 2026 and beyond. We need an experienced sales leader who can own the revenue number today and build the organization that takes us well beyond our current state.

Part of this person's primary job is building the team and making every rep on it better. In the first six months, 50%+ of their time will be spent recruiting: finding, closing, and onboarding the AEs, managers, and SEs we need to hit our goals for new bookings the next 12 months.

The remaining time is spent in the trenches: coaching reps through deals, running pipeline reviews, sitting in on demos, and driving the intensity and standards to meet and exceed our revenue goals.

This is a front-line sales leadership role, not a back-office one.

  • Partner directly with the founders. We are looking for a strategic thought partner who can challenge thinking, help shape company and product strategy, translate that vision into sales priorities, and take real ownership of the decisions required to scale the business.

  • Build a world class sales organization. Demand is outpacing Mintlify’s current sales capacity, making talent and execution one of the biggest constraints on growth. Scale the team, attract exceptional talent, and build the organization needed to capitalize on the demand already in front of the company.

  • Turn product innovation into Mintlify’s next phase of growth. Help launch major new product lines as the company expands beyond its core documentation platform, enabling multiple product bets to run in parallel without sacrificing speed, quality, or reliability.

  • Own sales execution and the revenue/growth foundation. Set priorities across product, platform, and infrastructure, improve sales velocity and performance, and ensure the organization can support Mintlify’s rapidly growing scale and enterprise customer base.

What we’re looking for

  • Proven scaling experience. Has scaled a sales organization from roughly 10 to 30 sales people at an early stage company and understands the challenges that come with rapid growth.

  • Deep technical credibility. A hands on sales leader with strong sales experience with knowledge of AI, saas, GTM motions, etc.

  • An exceptional talent builder. Has a track record of identifying, recruiting, developing, and retaining high caliber sales people and views recruiting as a core part of the job.

  • A first principles, high agency leader. Low ego, comfortable with ambiguity, willing to give direct feedback, and thoughtful about designing the right processes and operating rhythms for the company’s current stage rather than importing a playbook from somewhere else.

Company Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation and equity

  • 20 days paid time off every year

  • 401k with Employer Match

  • monthly wellness stipend

  • 100% employee coverage for Health, Dental, Vision

  • Commute stipend to help get you to and from work

  • Free lunch and dinners

  • Annual team offsite (previously went to Alaska, Hawaii, Jackson Hole)
