The Division of Congenital Heart Disease in the Department of Cardiology at the Smidt Heart Institute, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, seeks an accomplished physician to serve as Director of the Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD) Program.

The Director will lead the clinical, educational, and research missions of the ACHD Program across the Cedars-Sinai Health System. Responsibilities include oversight of a multidisciplinary clinical program, strategic program development, faculty mentorship, and participation in inpatient and outpatient ACHD care.

The ACHD Program provides comprehensive care for adults with congenital heart disease across the main Cedars-Sinai campus and affiliated sites. Current clinical services include outpatient consultation, inpatient management, advanced cardiovascular imaging, catheter-based and surgical therapies, and care of patients with complex congenital heart disease, including single-ventricle physiology, pulmonary hypertension, and heart failure. The program is closely integrated with Pediatric and Fetal Cardiology, Congenital Cardiac Surgery, Electrophysiology, Advanced Heart Failure and Transplantation, Structural Heart Disease, and Cardiac Imaging, providing continuity of care from fetal diagnosis through adulthood.

The Director will expand the ACHD clinical and research programs, strengthen regional referral networks, develop multidisciplinary initiatives, and mentor fellows and junior faculty. Opportunities include participation in multicenter research, national registries, quality improvement, and educational programs.

Cedars-Sinai offers a strong academic environment with substantial institutional support for clinical innovation, research, and program development. The Director will build on an established ACHD program while defining its future direction.

The Smidt Heart Institute is consistently ranked among the nation's leading cardiovascular programs.
